I haven't played poker much since Vegas.  The only thing I've done is played in the league games that I'm a part of every Friday.  I kind of committed myself to doing that or else I don't think I would have played much at all.  I know you can't be results oriented in this game and everything should be based on if you made the right decision in that moment.  But you can't help sometimes when you've been getting beat up for 3 months.  Seems as if nothing goes right.  I really don't mind if I make a bad decision and lose but its when I make a SICK call and lose.  Why can't I be rewarded for those decisions?  Nothing changed much in the league games when I got back from Vegas.  Examples:  holding  board .  Call an ALL IN on the flop and guy tables  and he runs out broadway.  Seriously.   (Big Blind) board .  Check raise flop and guy calls with  and turn is a 7.  WOW.  This next hand had little effect in the tournament since my opponent was short stacked but this just shows how it's going right now.   vs  all in preflop.  Board .  Turn .  River .  LOL.  Just some of the shit that I'm going through.  It wouldn't be so bad but most of them cripple me or sent me packing. 

I FINALLY did good this past Friday.  I battled and finished 2nd for my first cash in the league and boy did it feel good.  When it went heads up, the girl had close to a 3 to 1 chip lead on me and I was able to battle to near even and then this hand came up.  I check my option holding .  Flop .  Flop goes check check.  Turn .  I check, my opponent bets and I move all in.  She INSTACALLS...Oops right!?  Bad read and she must have a really strong hand for her tournament life.  She tables .  River .  OMG.  And THAT is how I lose the tournament.  She says "I really didn't think you had anything".  Well, at least I was able to sell that.  $250 cash for $40 invested for that tourney so I guess its a decent win.  I shoulda won it.  I'm never satisfied.

Maybe this will be the start of something.  Get something going.  I don't think I'll be entering the next season so I can concentrate more on my cash game and build my bankroll again.  And the journey continues.....
