2007 Year End Review

Surprised I haven't done this yet.  I made a committment to myself in 2007 to track every single session I played regardless of venue.  Whether it was in the casino, home game, whatever, I tracke the number of hours I played, buy ins, everything money wise.

My stats for 2007 are as follows:
Net profit:  A little over $5200
Hours played:  490 hrs
Hourly Rate:  ~$10.60

Not too shabby considering I spent a lot of that playing .25/.50 - .50/1.00.  I was also able to enter into a 1K tournament plus numerous $500 ones.  I probably spent close to 4K in tournaments.  Overall, I would consider it  pretty decent year considering that.

Obviously being + for the year is nice but I was able to improve my game drastically.  Playing as much as I did, playing against the different types of opponents, learning new games, making new friends, all these things have improved my game.

I hope I'm able to play as much as I did in 2008 and continue to be successful and improve my game.  The dream is still alive to one day maybe make a living doing this.  Wish me luck!

See you at the felt!
