Well, woke up and felt like crap as expected after a rough night last night. To try and feel better, I went and did one of those oxygen bar thingys. It helped but when you drink 40 oz of vodka redbull, your head will probably hurt the next day. After catching lunch at the ESPN zone at the NYNY, the three of us decided to head over to the Rio and check out the scene. I've never seen so many poker tables in my life. I should have taken a bunch of pics but I didn't. I saw all the big name pros, Doyle, Barry Greenstein, Phil Ivey, Gavin Smith, Daniel Alaei, Seidel, John Juanda, etc. I played in two single table satellites. One for 125 where I finished 8th. JJ lose to 87 when he flopped trip sevens. These satellites are so quick that if you try to make a move and miss, you're short stacked. I was check raised on the flop and decided to make the call (thought he was on a flush draw) and lost on the 7710 board. The other one was a 225 where we did a 3 way chop then heads up chopped again. I made 750 (about 525 profit). Not too shabby. Thats about it thus far. I need to spend more time playing live games. I wanted to spend the majority of my time playing poker and I just haven't dedicated myself to it all. My bankroll is depleting quickly and if I don't turn things around soon, I will be hurting. I think that will be my plan on Sunday. Play some good quality cash games and try and make some money.
